Support The Redevelopment of the Trails

The Santa Barbara Mountain Bike Trail Volunteers was established nearly 30 years ago in response to threatened trail closures. Since then the Trail Volunteers have worked hard to promote responsible use of the trails. Given the recent events in the winter of 2017, their work has become even more vital for the local community as the Thomas Fire destroyed vegetation and public use trails in Ventura and Santa Barbara counties.

That's why we've decided to donate all our proceeds from this race to this wonderful grassroots organization.

Explore the Mountains and Discover the Chumash Heritage

The proceeds of this race will benefit local environmental organizations, working to restore the network of trails in Southern California, particularly Ventura County, which have been damaged by the recent wildfires.

Named after the Chumash Indians who lived in this region, the race celebrates and pays respect to their heritage.
